Air Jordan Sneaker Collection
Over the past fifteen years, countless people have turned
to Nike’s Air Jordan line for all their sneaker needs. Air Jordans are primarily a basketball shoe, but over
the years, the line has expanded to include shoes suitable for all kinds of athletic activities including
cross-training, football, and baseball. The Air Jordan sneaker collection has now reached significant
proportions and encompasses over a thousand different styles of shoes.
Almost every year since the first pair of Air Jordans was released in 1984, a new
line of Air Jordans has been produced by Nike. The most recent line has been the Air Jordan XX3. Since this is the
number of Michael Jordan’s jersey, it is rumored that it is the terminal Air Jordan line. The brand will continue
to release other types of sneakers, but the iconic Air Jordans will only be available in retro releases. However,
since XX3 line came out a shoe called Air Jordan 2009 came out in a very limited release. There were 1005 pairs for
sale in the US and 1004 pairs available in the rest of the world. One will just have to wait and see what Nike has
next up their sleeve.
Even if there will be no new additions to the Air Jordan sneaker collection, the
amount and types of shoes already available should already be enough to satisfy. Air Jordans are engineered to
provide maximum cushioning with minimum weight in order to maximize your slam dunking skills and help you to be
more "like Mike." There are Air Jordan Fusion shoes that combine the outer styles of Air Jordans with the proven
cushion and grip of the Air Force 1 line of shoes. Other Air Jordan creations are the Dub Zeros, which combine a
number of the most popular sneakers form the Air Jordan collection. The Air Jordan Sixty Plus combines the styles
of shoes that Michael Jordan wore on the court during games when his score exceeded sixty points.
